Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Dennis Kimanzi George, trading as Luvaro AI Academy ("Luvaro AI Academy", "we", "us", "our"). They apply to the Luvaro AI Academy website and app, the free Learn Basic ******, the paid Advanced Modules, assessments, certificates, live classes and the annotation tools (together, the "Academy"). Please read them. By creating an account, paying for a module or using the Academy you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy.

1. Who can use the Academy

You must be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18 you may use the Academy only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for your account and any payment.

You must give us true information when you register and keep it up to date.

2. Your account

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your login details private. One account belongs to one person: you must not share your account, sell access, or let others use your paid modules.

Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.

3. What we offer

Learn Basic ****** free. Advanced Modules are paid, and each module is unlocked separately. Each category also has a Final Exam. Modules contain notes, videos, recordings, documents and an assessment.

We may add, change, reorder or retire lessons and questions to keep the training accurate and useful. If we remove a module you have paid for, we will give you an equal replacement or a refund.

4. Prices, payment and unlocking

Prices are shown in Kenya shillings (KES) on the module before you pay. You pay by M-Pesa Send Money to the number shown in the payment window and then enter the M-Pesa confirmation code and the phone number you paid from.

We check each payment by hand. A module unlocks when we confirm the money has reached us, normally within a few hours and no later than 24 hours. You will receive an email at the address you registered with.

Each M-Pesa code can be used once. Entering a false, altered or reused code is fraud. We may reject the payment, close the account and report the matter to the authorities.

Paying the wrong amount or to the wrong number is your responsibility, but contact us quickly and we will help where we can. Mobile-money charges are set by your network, not by us.

A price change never affects a module you have already paid for.

5. Licence to use paid content

When a module is unlocked, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use its content for your own learning.

You must not copy, record, download for resale, publish, share links or files of, or teach from our videos, notes, documents, questions or answers without our written permission.

6. Assessments and certificates

To complete a module you must score at least 70% in its assessment. Questions are drawn at random, so you may try again with a new set. Cheating, using another person to sit an assessment, or copying questions out of the Academy is not allowed and can cancel your result and certificate.

Certificates show that you completed the Academy's training. They are issued by us, carry a unique number and may be verified by us. They are not a government qualification and are not issued by any examination body.

We may withdraw a certificate that was obtained by cheating or misuse.

7. No promise of work or income

We help students become ready for annotation and AI data work and may connect qualified students to opportunities. We do not promise that you will get work, a particular job, income or a particular level of pay. Opportunities depend on clients, availability and your own performance.

8. Live classes

You can ask for a live class with the trainer. A request is not a booking until we confirm the time by email. Classes take place on Google Meet. Please arrive on time, behave respectfully and do not record the class unless we agree. We may reschedule a class and will tell you as early as we can. Live classes are currently included at no extra charge, and we will tell you before this changes.

9. The annotation tools and practice data

The annotation and LiDAR tools are for learning and practice. Some tools, including the 3D/4D LiDAR tool, are available only to students with a paid module; a short preview may be shown to others.

Use only the practice data we provide or data you have the right to use. Do not upload other people's personal data or any client's confidential data to the Academy. Annotation work you do in the tools may be stored so that we can show your progress and check quality.

10. Acceptable use

You must not: break the law; try to access accounts, data or paid content you have not paid for; bypass the payment checks or tool locks; upload viruses or harmful files; copy or scrape the Academy; harass or abuse other users or staff; or use the Academy to train an AI product without our permission.

11. Your content

You keep ownership of what you create, such as your annotations and messages. You give us a free, non-exclusive licence to store, review and use it to run the Academy, mark quality, show progress and improve our training. We will not publish your name or personal details with it without your permission.

12. Our intellectual property

The Academy, its name, logo, lessons, videos, notes, questions, software and designs belong to Dennis Kimanzi George, trading as Luvaro AI Academy or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. These Terms give you no ownership of them.

13. Availability

We try to keep the Academy running but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may suspend it for maintenance. We rely on third parties such as hosting, email and video-call providers, and we are not responsible for their outages.

14. Suspension and ending

You may stop using the Academy at any time and may ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, with a refund only as set out in the Refund Policy. Sections that by their nature should continue after the account ends, such as intellectual property, liability and governing law, will continue.

15. Our responsibility to you

The Academy is provided on an "as is" basis. We take care in preparing the training, but we do not promise that it is free from mistakes or suits every purpose.

Nothing in these Terms removes any right you have under Kenyan law that cannot be excluded, including consumer rights and liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost income or lost opportunities, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the module the claim relates to.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Please contact us first so we can try to settle a complaint in good faith. If we cannot, the courts of Kenya, sitting in [County, e.g. Nairobi], have jurisdiction.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for important changes, tell you by email or in the app. If you keep using the Academy after the change you accept it. If you do not agree, stop using the Academy and contact us about a refund of any unused paid period under the Refund Policy.
